You have a double-agent inside of you. It is your old man. You were born in sin, and that old man remains there until you take your last breath on planet earth. When you came to the Lord by faith in Jesus, you were filled with the Holy Spirit who empowers you, illuminates scripture to you, and He whispers to you, teaching you how to apply God's word to your life. When you walk in the Spirit. When you live moment by moment trusting in Him and His word, the flesh within you becomes impotent.
