Ephesians 1

When we receive the grace of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, God “gives up” any reason to see
us punished for our sins. The debt so to speak that we owed for our own wrongdoing is erased.
The debt was paid. Our wrongdoings are forgiven because a great price was paid for each of us.
The price paid was Jesus’ death on the cross; with His blood being the payment for our sins and
wrongdoing.
