Ephesians 2

I was blind but now I see...

In an attempt to remind the church at Ephesus of who
they now are in Christ, Paul the Apostle reminds them
that before salvation they were alientated from God.
Now, as adopted sons and daughters, they have been
brought close to God. They are no longer alienated,
but now aligned with the things of God. As we read the
verses for today, we should think of “gentiles” as those outside of the knowledge of God.
