Galatians 5

In this letter to the Galatians Paul has been hammering home the concept that salvation comes
through faith in Christ alone. Last week, Larry talked about the first verses of the chapter,
explaining ways that Christians today add things to the clean unadulterated gospel. Paul has
been clear that our conduct as believers falls into two categories: 1) deeds done in the flesh,
and 2) deeds done in or by the Spirit. The Spirit, of course, is the Holy Spirit that is the
promised gift to each and every believer.
